6weeks into Flowering no Trichomes

I'm 6 weeks into flowering my Big Bud plant and there is no sign of trichomes showing. There are plenty of hairs and about 25% are brown. I'm using a 90W UFO LED lamp for 1 plant. The plant has not grown in height since the 2 weeks, but there are plenty of hairs. Any suggestions?

Don't worry about it not growing the last 2 weeks, when in flower theres a "stretch", and it last about 3-4 weeks. Then the plant focus's on bud production. How do you know theres no trics? Do you have a 420 scope? How about a photo? As long as buds are getting heavier and more "hairs" continue to form, I wouldn't worry much. What seedbank did you get the big bud from?

I can see trichome development pretty clearly from those pics. They have a while to go untill they plump up and mature, but I'd say that looks OK for now.

nice job on the training, BTW. Wish I had had that much forsight. You'll have some nice plump colas.

There are trichs all over that lady, don't know how you are not seeing them. If you don't know what you are looking for then trichomes are all the white/milky/amber dots you see on your bud and leaves. If you are using your scope properly then you will see a hair with a ball of resin on the tip. Here is a closer pic for reference:

i have three plants that have NO trichomes, none. seeds are third generation from plants i grew. lots of white hairs, beautiful plants with one being three times the size of the others. i've been saving the pollen and pollinating a few lower buds to get some seeds. previous gens have had plenty of tris. any ideas this has happened? these are dwarf plants by the way, some low ryder originally but five strains all together. j
