Im supposed to be flushing my soil every 2 weeks. Huh... I have not done that once. That is prolly why my leaves are all yellow and dying at the bottom.
its kinda hard to see in the pics but are the tips of all ur others leafs gray? if so u might have nute burn, but mostlikly is a difency, flush ur plants untill the water comes out clean and give them a light feeding. what happen is u get salt build up of nute build up and it locks out ur plant then if u dont catch it in time ur S.O.L.

it never matters when you flush/water/feed. obviously you want to avoid disrupting the photoperiod but it will rain at any time of day in nature.

Duse were growing indoor. We dont need to know about nature. And yes it does matter when you feed, water, and flush your plants. And yes you dont want to inturrupt the photoperiod, your right on that one. Sry to be a dick but you barged in on this man/woman's conversation with dushebag remarks.

wtf... that is just a slimy advertisement made by a scammy company (advanced nutrients). they got good products no doubt but their marketing division has no dignity. seriously. their websites suck and the descriptions are way inflated.
i posted the video so others can see the supernatural nutes i use since its in the video, not for AN, i would be broke if i bought AN.lol.

as far as the flushing thing i always flush when the light turn on, my friend said the same thing about nature and he got mold from water siting in the dark. its up to u but that just my . i know you want to give it a feeding at 1/2 strength after flushing.

That is not true. It is good to flush right as or right before the lights go on. Flushing right before a dark cycle had a higher chance for root rot as well as general problems with your plant. That is definitely not a N def. The leaves would be yellowing and then dying. Not just turning brown. Most likely the early stages of a burn. I would recommend a soil flush(make sure the last set of water is ph adjusted). Then let it dry out. After it has dried out, feed with 50% or less nutrients. If you follow this, you should be good. Nutrient burn is no joke. It is much harder to recover from than a deficiency. I speak from expierience.

i agree. always flush right when lights come on. i thought it was N diffency untill i looked close to the pics. we are both using the same nutes and the a auto ph bufferd. what i always do is flush untill my water comes out clean. with tap water mixed with super lech, then add 1/2 nutes the buffer ph in the soil, works great for me every time. since the nutes are self bufferd you will only run into problems with ph up or down added.

lol whaaat harvest after a dark cycle thats all you should need to know. w/e water your plants on a schedule if you want just saying the order of things in the real world (IRL) doesn't involve counting and timing raindrops. and you don't have to capture the most efficient usage of time and cycle to have a scientific approach that is for sure.

neway I use gen hydro although the store carries canna which is more like supernatural.

How much water should i use to flush my soil? I heard 3x the size of the pot that the plants are in?
i dont know for sure everyone has a differnt saying on tyhat one. edd's book says for every 2 gallon pot size should drain out on gallon of run off. so if you have a 6 gallon pot u should drain out 3 gallons. jorge cervantes say 3x the amount. i trust edd more from reading both books. what i do is drain untill the water comes out clear. i fell the more water you put in like 3x will only stress the plant. i use 5gal pot and flush about 4-5gal then give it a lite feeding to buffer the PH in the soil.
you might want to ask around, thats just what i do, works find for me.

yah I flushed my soil plants by luggin the 3gal into the bathtub and running the bath water. had to be careful not to get the tub full o dirt cuz the faucet was faster than the soil drained, but yeah basically you want to have clean water coming out.
