2 fluorecent lighting (cheap)
2 hps and mh (you must get both; one for veg and the other for flowering and both setups are really expensive)

bull mate you can use flourescents from seedling to harvest i have done it before.
and as for mh lamps i have never bothered with them.
the whole point of a dual spectum hps bulb is it gives of blue and red spectrums throughout the whole grow.
so basically you are saying if you are growing outdoors the lighting spectrum should be changed

thank you Luda,if you are growing outdoors in a country suitable for doing it you would plant the seeds at the right time of year and just let nature take its course and let the sun do its thing throughout the season(no need for 12/12).
i am no outdoor grower but have lots of info on that.
