When to add flowering nutes for outdoor?

Stopped by a local shop today and the only thing I could find for flowering was Schultz Bloom Plus. The NPK is 5-30-5, is this alright to use? Also, I hear that plants in my area will start flowering pretty soon, so when should I add the flowering nutes? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure where you are, but in the northern US most the plants I've do start to bloom at the end of July beginning of August. So... Get busy ;)

I have small buds forming right now. I have been giving my plants fertilizer for the last week. As soon as you see little hair clusters start to form at the growth tips then start your feeding. Also the branches off the branches as well as the tips will begin to turn upwards. Also i would recommend a more organic fert with lower numbers. It is easy to burn when you work with higher numbers, and when they do get burned it is hard to bring them back. I would suggest anything that is in the single digits. Preferably foxfarm big bloom or even tiger bloom.

Branches have started to turn upwards. Did a search on the Fox Farm website and there aren't any stores around here that sell their products but I'm going to check out Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot and every gardening store I can so I can get some nutes for my baby. Thanks for the help by the way. :joint:

Well, to be perfectly honest, I didn't use any nitrogen during veg and I never had any yellowing leaves or other problems but just to be on the safe side I'm going to start out with half doses every 3rd watering and slowly build up. Still got to look for some other nutes though since this Schultz is too strong.
