I'm sure the metal will be fine but the fiberglass wont ever rust thats all. From what I've read thats exactly how they make fem seeds. Thats why some people wont buy fem seeds because they has some hermie ancestry. Some one on here stressed their plants with light in the dark period and made fem seeds and it worked like a charm if i recall.

WTF?? At first I was like "oh cool", but then......
I put 50,000 lumens in the lumens box (i run a 400W HPS @ 50,000 lumens)' then i put 1 foot in the distance box, and the results say an initial intensity of 50 FC (foot candles). But then its says THIS>
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS FOR CANNABIS (in foot-candles)Vegetative growth = 500 - 1500 fcFlowering = 1500 - 3000 fc
So if cannibis requires 500-1500 foot/candles (in veg) and according to this my light only produces 50 fc?? Something is NOT RIGHT!
Its not a big deal. There is no math or science or anything like that nessessary to figure out how close to keep your light. Its just not that hard LOL. I thought i could give my lumens and it would tell me the best distance. This calculator only calculates FC. Who cares what the FC of their light is?

OK , so i must have done something wrong (twice)?? Now i get 50,000 fc from a 50,000 lumen bulb @ a distance of 1 foot. LOL i dont think i need a calculator to figure THAT out. Let me guess 50,000 luimens @ 2 feet should be 12,500?......... YUP. LOL

this will be vary helpful and i was early. i cant fig out how to shrank my pic to send u a VM. so i will have to post on here. this is what i am working with know. the one in the back is around 7 feet tall. it was a pain in the ass to take pictures to close.
