Growing in an apartment?

So I started my first grow this year outdoors on my balcony. Just one plant but all is well so far but now i'm thinking I want to start a 1-3 plant grow in my apartment.

I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend how big of a box I would need?

I can't grow it in the closet since I can't put holes in it so i'm either going to make a box or build one.

The only this is that is there a way I can run everything through the whole grow in one box? between veg-flowering or am I going to need 2 seperate boxes?

I'm faced with the same thing. What i did was buy one of those metal file cabinets (storage cabinets). Get everything out (shelves, ect) but some maylar in and around the inside. seal the holes. get a 400watt light in there, drill some holes for vents and lead them outside.

you can get most of this stuff off of craiglsist for about ~ 50 + the cost of the light.

im in 3 story apartment, second floor, im flowering in my closet an jus have the sliding glass doors, runnin a 250 with 2 plants an 1 duel fan, temps like 88 max, doin ok, add another fan an drop another 4 degrees maybe or so, im lookin pretty, just gone go from seed to flowerin there, craiglist is the place to go, reminding me i seen a filing cabinet in my boss's neighborhood for 25$ gettin that!
