Hi all,

These are pics of three different girls who are a little more than 2 months into vegg. They will be flipped into flower in another day. One is a g13 NLxSkunk, the other is a Greenhouse Seed Himalyan Gold, and the last is a Barney's Farm Blue Cheese. In 4 gallon pots with fox farm ocean forest and are being fed fox farms nutes with their recommended schedule. All plants have been tied down and trained to prevent too much vertical growth at this time.

Concern for the Himalayan Gold is the twisting of leaves on the plant. At first glance we thought it was heat stress but temps in our room are consistently at 77 degrees F.

Concern for the NLxskunk is the bending of the top of the plant where the new growth is developing. Im pretty sure everything is fine but wanted to make sure.

The Blue cheese is the one that worries me as all of its new growth seems to cause the leaves to curl under and look very small. They look very skinny, while they look healthy in color. I didnt know if this was just genetics or if there was some sort of deficiency.

Yes, these plants have been through some stress as we had to move them outside at one point for 12 days and there has been some nute burn as it is our first time. If you have any suggestions or any idea what we could do to make the plants healthier please let me know. Thanks for your help. Also what do you think we could yield off of these?

pic 1-3 is the Himalayan Gold and the bending of leaves.

pic 4-6 are the Blue Cheese and the curling under and small leaves production.

pics 7 and 8 are the NLxSkunk and its new growth and full shot.

Last pic is a full view of the Blue Cheese

Thanks for your help

do you have proper air flow because i had the same problem and it was heat stress and not enough ventilation for air exchange to try that , beause i can see your foliage canoeing and thats what it does and your lights might be to close to the plant

Are you checking pH? What type of water are you using? How often are you watering?

Have a 2 670 cfm fans. One attached to a carbon filter, one air cooling the lights and being exhaust outside of the room. Have an AC unit blowing close to the plants also. Room temps are normally always at 75-78 degrees F

Thanks for your quick replies. The light is 22 inches away from the tops of the plants and it is comfortable keeping your hand in between the light and plant tops. I will def try to raise the light a little bit to see if it helps. How do they look besides the things i have listed? I know they have been stressed in the past but the new growth looks green and I am hoping to yield big off these

I am watering every other day. Using water ph'd at 7. Feeding with fox farm nutes every other watering..
Sometimes the twisted leaves at the top are a result of micronutrient def. I think zinc but not sure off top of my head. Could also be genetics. Could be heat stress. Try raising your lights a little. And as Green Cross said it could be salt buildup causing symptoms (since you are using a good fert). Good luck my friend.

I think they'll be o.k. Just don't love them too much. It's easier to give a little fertilizer when they start looking a little pale than to flush like a mad man because you gave too much.
