How long can you store bud?

What's the longest you, or someone you know or have heard of, has ever stored bud? 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, MORE? How'd they store it? Just askin, might have to squirrle some away for awhile. Any and all welcome to throw in their stories or advice.

you can vacuum seal it and it should last indefinetely. i know that in mason jars it can last months and months and months. not sure about baggies....

wish i could keep some around long enough to know for myself

I still have an 1/8 in a baggie I bought back in 2001, trichs look yummy but odor is pretty much non existent.

Ive been storing my grow in vacuum sealed mason jars. I might vacuum seal a brick for later use in a vacuum sealed bag. It should last... a long long time. I might even toss it in the freezer.

Well I had gone to my cousins college graduation up north at UCD and his dealer roomate hooked it up with this 1/8 that was from humboldt. When i got home i threw it in my closet drawer and forgot about it, found it 3 years later and decided to keep it and smoke it when i feel like it.
