I've read a few post of dudes saying bud grown indoors is better bud; I have also read that outdoor bud will kick the shit of an indoor crop.....SO I wanted to group everyone together in one thread here and find out what my fellow growers think? Which bud will be more potent, indoor or outdoor?...or is it about the same...if both plants of the same strain are properly managed...

Potency is genetic. If they get fully ripe outdoors, they get fully potent.

If you tell your friends your outdoor weed was grown indoors, they will not know the difference.

You will also get massively more bud per plant outdoors.

you're posting this thread in an outdoor growers forum...what do you think our response will be? Outdoor for sure.

usually indoor grow weed is more potent, and seems greener even. but yield wise outdoors cantbe beat

all about that outdoor

that purpleish nugg in the middle looks like some kill

maybe it's just cause i haven't seen super dank outdoor my entire life, but i'll always take indoor over outdoor buds...outdoor buds seem more dark in color and never burn as good...all the heady nugs i've ever smoked have been indoor...but i hear in cali they can grow some outdoor that is grade A...

Yeah dude, but try getting that 24/7 light to get as thick as a outdoor plant with all thoese vitamins in the sun thoese vitamins help the plant so bomb u cant get that indoor dude

i prefer indoor. i prefer to grow indoor. dont get me wrong i got some outside has well. bottom line is ur god inside u control light, temps, nutes, light spectrum,co2,ect, and deer and rabbits wont be able to eat ur shit, nor can someone steal ur plants.

a lot of good points I'd say, everyone has there own preferences; but I guess I'm leaning more towards the genetics side of things. A White Widow plant grown indoors should have the same characteristics as a White Widow plant grown indoors...other than the fact that yields outdoors obviously are much greater.

You mean you can grow grass indoors?

They call that 'Astroturf'!

You can't smoke that shit!
LOL thats funny shit right there!bongsmilie
But anyway...I have done a few indoor grows myself....I documented one grow when I grew papaya and now I'm attempting to grow outdoors and its on a much larger scale than my previous indoor grows. I just wanted to start this thread cuz i started to worry that the potency wasn't going to be up to par. Thanks for all the feedback guys keep it comin:clap:

I think its easier to get perfect bag appeal indoors because everything is controlled, but that doesnt mean you cant get great bag appeal outdoors either, its just that outdoors is the natural way and the flowers are in a natural environment with wind, rain etc so outdoor buds may not be as frosty and tight(sometimes)...it all depends on how its grown, and my opinion is that if its sensimilla, its just as potent grown outdoors than indoors...
