hey folks am in ma second week of flowering and the bottom leaves are dying on me is this normall ?? i dont think its ever happened before been a while since my last grow,,, could it be that there not geting enought light or summit??? should i trim these dying leaves of ??? help would be much apreciated the strain is Magic Bud been vegd for 1month

He's right they will fall off when the plant doesn't need them anymore. Cutting off anything during flower isn't good and can shock the plant to the point where it could take a long time till it buds.

dieing leaves r not normal in the first weeks of flowering... r u useing nutes??? if so, jus bloom nutes?? u shuld continue feeding nutes high in nitrogen as well as ur bloom nutes and ween ur way off the nitrogen... week 4-5 u shuld be off the nitrogen nutes or lil amounts in ur mix... the leaves die in flowering cuz they know thats the end of there life time and use all that energy to survive... u plants life is far from over at 2 weeks in 12/12

Actually i think you should remove the leaves if they are more than 50% yellow. Otherwise they are actually hurting the plant by supplying nutrition to a lost cause

meh.. they r still producing food for the plant.. i too would leave them till they fall off or practilly dead...

no not using any nutes just that miracle grow soil i think it has nutes in it ..

so basicaly my plants are dying at week2 of flowering am a right ??? this a good or bad thing ?? its buding nicely though ,,, its 53 days for flowering a think, 2 weeks seems a bit early forleaves to be dying does it not??

got pics?? perhaps thats ur problem.. it needs nutes... the nutes that r added in ur soil coulda been washed away as well as used.. when its flowering it uses more energy cuz A:its changing into bud, B: it knows its nearing its death, and C: its receiving less light so not as much food is being made and is useing more that it has made in its longer dark cycle... ide try and get sum nutes (both veg and bloom)and ez ur way in... dont go crazy, that can create more probs....

lights not on till 10pm my time m8 thats abought 2 hours away will try and upload some pics,,, when i water them and get the drainige its got a yellow coulour to it ,,, any recomends on nutes to solve this problem

if u have a hydro shop in town tell them ur prob.. obviously not say its weed, say its tomatoes... if not, got to wall mart or sumthin and get what u thinks best.... they will say veg, bloom on it... the nute value will be on it looking like 10-14-10 or whatever.. thats the n-p-k ratio... veg high in (n), bloom high in (p)... also look on the side and see if there is secondary nutes such as iron, magnesium, ect.. jus dont go crazy... give it 1/4-1/2 the recomended dose and wait a few days atleast b4 feeding more... those "comercial" nutes they sell in stores r stong and not intended for MJ but wll work fine if u use it rite... like i said too high of dose or too often tryin to fix it, will lead to new probs and u may think that its "this" when its really "that".. if ur water is yellow, maybe its gettin too much thats in ur soil, thats y i dont like MG soil.. hard to determine what the prob is but if u havent any probs till now, ide say lack of nutes... gl!!

sweet dude thanks for the info i have i have some miracle grow pour and feed it says its for the flowering stage of a plant ,,, it doesnt say anythin about wats in it though and it for pouring straight into the soil i could water it down a guess wat do u think ??

there should be a ratio on it sum where saying the % of the nutes that r in it... is it liquid??? powder??? ide dillute it... MG is strong... ide deff get sumthin with nitrogen the(n) part of the ratio, thats y leaves turn yellow.. not sure if u can aford to purchase more stuff but rember, ur gonna get more outta it then what u put in... if u dont invest anything, it could die and end up with nuthhin.. invest 20$ and end up with an oz... ya dig???

a can aford it m8 just dont have a local hydro store would need to buy online then it would get worse by the time it tookk to get here,,, nope no info on the miracle grow bottle apart from grow plants twice as big lol typical,,, we have a home and garden store all see if they have anything in the morning,, thanks for your help m8 apreciated :)
