Anyone here roll their own cigarettes?

Smoking is a very expensive habit these days, so I'm thinking of rolling my own cigarettes. Aside from the price advantage, I'd always choose making something over buying it, and I like the idea of practicing, until I get my rolls just the way I like, and making a nice smokeable product.

I'm having trouble finding rolling tobacco in my area though (Toronto/Mississauga), and filter tips.

Anyone here roll their own cigarettes?

lol that's cheap as hell down south. even comes with free papers. never tried to put a filter in it, but roll your owns are supposed to be naturally "better" for you anyway so I never really worried about that

I'm not too worried about smoking without a filter, I've rolled up little tobacco pinners before when I had no money for real smokes lol but I just want to make something resembling a regular cigarette, but like a hand made version.

Hm.. the only kind of hand roll tobacco ive seen in my time is the cheap stuff that usually comes with its own set of papers haha. my real suggestion is use the rising price of cigarettes as a rise in your effect to quit smoking them!!!

I've been rolling my own cigarettes for a few months now. It's much cheaper & I find I smoke less often. I even have this little roller I carry around that makes it real simple. You can get filters but I don't use any.

Are there Meyers in Canada? If so theyve got rolling machines, rolling tobacco and filter tips.

This is crazy, over in NZ pretty much everyone rolls their own cigarettes, not as many people smoke cigarettes than come in packets...

i used to roll my own. we never used filters and my buddy smoked them so much he got two pretty noticable tar lumps in the sides in his jaw. he had to stop for a little bit.

In Canada, for regular cigarettes at least, they're something like 300%. You're spending more on tax than you are on the actual product.

My girl is mgr of a tobacco store in Ohio, USA, they sell more loose tobacco and tubes than name brand smokes. you get 200 cig tubes with a filter built in for 2 dollars a little hand held machine you put tobacco in push it into the mach. slide the tube on the end and close the lid and slide the handle forward and it pushes the tobacco into the tube. the machine is 7 dollars, watch this vid it is easy and cheap. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5qaL6O1Rrc

OH i see you just looking for some tobacco, if you look for uncut tobacco and cut it up yourself you can save lots and lots of $$$$ and you can get one of those electric food choppers cheap at like a dollar store if you have them up there

i get my smokes from the reserves in brantford... but always have a pouch of drum tobacaco for when i run out.. it tastes mad good but i dont filter it... i only smoke them for like a day till i get more and when i get them i buy 10 bags at a time and get 1 free... some bags r gross but it depends where u go and get them.. diff places have diff quality... outta the 200+ bags my fam and i have been threw, only 4 were crappy.. i would sugest goin there nad getiing a bunch of bags and sell them to ur friends for more $$ and get freebies outta it.. they r like 15$ a bag of 200 smokes.. buy 10 u get 1 free(they even have a stamp card incase u buy a few)... sell them for like 20-25$ a bag and get free smoke... it takes a bag or so to get used to them but when i look at the price and how much i smoke.. i can learn to love.. 15$ a week, or 15$ a day... pretty clear choise especaily when ur contemplating rolling ur own... if ur interested i can probly get u and address or directions to the place i go.. like i said,"diff places have diff quality" mine nvr has sticks in them or stank like some others do.. but most convience stores sell "drum" tobaco in a lil pouch for like 15$, havent really seen the tins around tho
