clones - 3 weeks, zero roots, still healthy

i topped two plants about three weeks ago now.

in 20 days neither has roots, but both are looking incredibly healthy and green. one is about 2.5-3 nodes high while the other is only two nodes. in fact, they look even better than they did on the plants, and that says alot because this has been a flawless grow so far.

they're in individual bubblers with 6.5 ph water. i roughed up one stem and left the other untouched as a small experiment, but it seems to not have mattered.

if i keep waiting it out.... will it eventually root? is there a chance it will just keep on keepin on without roots?

You probably already have microscopic (hairs) roots, so don't give up! Mine took about 3 weeks in soil, and just starting to grow @ 5 weeks, but the temperatures are cold.

I don't do hydro, so I'm not sure if water temperature is a factor, but in soil a warm tray helps.

I took clones and put in a cup with airstone...no PH adjusting at all and have hard water...took a bit longer to root but they did none the less.......they will root.

Peace

did you take them from a plant in 12/12 this is one of a few reasons to why clones sometimes take a while to root.

I recently took 2 clones, same day, the first one rooted in a week, and the second one slowly withered until I cut it again and readded hormone, its healthy now 4 days later. they both came from a plant that was nearly 2 weeks into 12/12.

I have heard alot about some cuttings taking upto 30 days to root.

Hang in there!
