And in terms of acoustic or electric it doesn't really matter cause once you start playing you will want to play both cause they each have very different qualitys but equally as important

Yeah, well it really depends on the person though. If someone likes rock genre music, they tend to want a electric move than an acoustic. Like for me, I have an acoustic and electric, but I mostly only play my electric as my favorite songs are played through with distortion. I rarely use my acoustic at all, maybe once a month...

damnit damnit damnit.

I don't want crusty hands.

lol. I used to have callouses on my hands, and it took a lot of work
to get them to go away, and they're still partially there. :-|

fuck...fuck!!!!

I dunno what to do now...

hehe.

sorry, I'm not familiar with nice guitars yet...

kiss-ass
That's wierd. Mine never went away. And I went probably a good 6 years never touching a guitar.

Do like I did and build your own electric.
I have access to a CNC router which made it fairly easy. You'd like it ,FDD. I made my own blank for the body out of bookmatched curly maple front and back with a wild cherry stringer between. It's cut like a Les Paul with a Warmoth spiked thru-neck. Hardware, tremelo, and pickups are '84 Kramer. Badass.

So i don't think I would know how to build one. lol.

Hey can someone tell me if this would be an ok guitar
for a beginner?

freakin hot out there. lol. 90+ degrees outside..

if not over 100.

If I got this one, I would get it in blueburst.

mine never completely went away...but mostly.

I used to LOVE monkey bars when i was little.

(I could beat anyone on hangin there the longest. hehe :-P and
going across them the fastest)

and that
caused me to get pretty nice sized calluses (dunno how to spell that)
but after I stopped they went down pretty well.

they're still there, but they're not so prominent.

Ok, so I was looking around, and many people suggest

getting a "Fender Squire" electric guitar for beginners...

what do you guys think?

like i said, i don't know a good guitar when I see one,
but from reading I can plainly see the best guitars

are taylors and gibsons...

but those are way over my budget.

Get an acoustic. They're harder to play...but you'll learn faster, and just be that more sick on the electric when you decide to pick it up.
