n/l female pre flowers no pistles

just been to check on the 4 northan lights i have under 12/12(5 days) anyway before i started to flower i got pre flowers at about week 3 but the females pre flowers aint got any white hairs poking out yet. the pre flowers are defo not male as ther is just the 1 pre flower per node all alone and its shaped more like a female preflower (caylex) without the stipel. any idea why. maybe im a little early flowering or its down to the strain. nirvana northern. im hoping they aint male, i doubt it a hell of alot, this is not my 1st grow it my 10th so this is unuseual to me as iv allways noticed the hairs, i have put plants into flower before without any sexing and waited till i got flowers and got rid of the males and iv even accuratly labled plants male&female by size before andby early preflowers. but this time im convinced they female as they are single caylex but without the hairs, maybe in a week there will be hairs right.anybody experienced this before, the preflower aint on no stump either like a male preflower, its a caylex, fat at the base and turns into a point at the tip. everything suggests its females but no hairs yet. anybody ever experienced this before.

maybe undifferentiated vegetative growth
it looks like staminate and pistillate primordia but turns out to be leaves of some sort

yur suppose it cud be that, fortunatly though they all look the same n if they are females thenthey all females.its pretty obviouse to me that its a caylex i see but without the hairs its a tricky 1. just have to wait n see i guess. they did take a while to show and they all shown at the same time all are about the same size exept 1 stumped that i decided to flower anyway. even that 1 pre flowerd roughly around the same time. if it was a male id be pretty upset right now cuz they wud all be males lol. so im thinking they females. is it known for the hairs to take a while longer iv never experienced that because iv never been so closely monitoring the plants unlike this time. so maybe im seeing sumthing iv not witnessed before because iv never paid enough attention. thing is if there was any tell tail signs that these where females then this is it.cant imagine them turning male at this stage surly not. the caylex on 1 plant is a long thing 2 the others are smaller but looking like a caylex. i think if it was a male it wud be more ball shaped and on a little stump and not as prominent as these pre flowersalso these caylex point upward not down. i guess without pics its hard to tell. anyway il let u know wen i find out. cheers.

nope, jus got a crappy webcam at the mo.nopoint trying with it il post up a pic to show u how bad the quality is though lol. 1 more question. male preflowers are not single preflowers right. normally u wud get 3 or 4 preflowers at the same node if its a male right, even if they are tiny,tiny. so for these preflowers to be caylex shaped and on there own pointing upward without hairs should be females right, otherwise there wud be a few preflowers around the nodes right.

lol yeah quality sucks
yeah usually males have several ball at once but it can pop up one before popping up others ...u should be able to tell very soon.....and if it is just one in all the nodes then prob is female

yur thats what im thinking too.im pretty sure they females at the mo, but as theres no hairs im just waiting on em for now so until they shoot out its all abit iffy for now.but fingers crossed they shud all be females. thanx 4 the replies.
