here are my 3-5 week old 1st time hydro plants.....ph is around 5.7-6.0, ppm has changed due to over ferting, and starting to add more nutes now due to yellowing. they are in rockwool with hydroton in a pot. i top water and feed maybe every other day so far. bagseed, under cfl's. using floa nova grow and sometimes super thrive. what should i do???????????????

i have been spending weeks giving phed water only.....then plants started turning yellowish/white......then i hit with 200 ppm, and then up to 400 from there right now. they needed nutes, its the brown leafs i am pissed about.

ppm has changed from when they were babies, .... i started at 200 then they were like 2 weeks old.....then i slowely braught up to 600 which was too much. they burned.....i flushed for 2 weeks using a folier feed only on some plants when needed. now that they have been flushed of salts, and showing they are hungry, i started back at 200 ppm, and have come up to 400-450 right now.....

looks like nute burn to me or massive nute lock and cut those brown leaves off bro because they are dead and you should flush and reduce the nute to 1/4 strength

looks like nute burn to me or massive nute lock and cut those brown leaves off bro because they are dead and you should flush and reduce the nute to 1/4 strength

thanks for the reply. i gotcha that far.....i just need to know what it was, just over fertz? seems like its more than that because i am barely feeding them. these plants should be at 500-700 ppm at thier age.......

you have shoked the plants playing with the nute level so radically.I hate to say it,but if you don't tighten it up soon,tou will lose it all.Also,when asking for help,you should try to be specific as to what you're doing,or no amount of advice is going to help.Any nute changes,especially in hydro,MUST be done gradually so you dont over-stress the poor things.

you burn the hell out of them with to strong of nuts cut off all the burnt leaves and only use water for a few weeks
