HTG Supply shipped me a bad bulb? [PICS]

I just got this 600w MH from HTG Supply, and there is some gross shit inside of it that I'm worried will make the bulb die soon after using it.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I sent them an email about it, I'll post their reply. In the mean time, WTF IS THIS?

I see what your saying man, it looks like the same bulb. I Know HTG is great place to buy at cause i buy all my stuff from them and they have great customer service if theirs a problem they'll fix it for sure. you might have just got a bad bulb out of the batch.
The spots in the bulb look like rust or some sort to weird crud forming!

HTG was pretty good with me when I ordered something from them and had problems. The tent I ordered wasnt how it was described (vent holes were different sizes). They instantly insisted on sending me new flanges for whichever holes I wanted. Told them I only needed 1, they still sent 4. =D

If you contact them and show them a picture (upload to imageshack or something as they cannot open attachments) and they will probably be glad to work something out with you.

dude dont worry htg is great on customer service. i had bulbs upgraded cause a batch of bulbs they got in were no good. talk to them and they will send you a new one with a return label to return the defective one. they may even upgrade to better bulbs if they dont have in stock.

yeah, i ordered mine from htg and had bulb issues, thy sent one to me then i sent the other back. they are awesome about customer service!

LOL its rust on the inside that when heated quicken and colored. thats why you dont buy from HTG people just dont lsiten. HTG sells junk poorly made stuff. Yeah he'll send a new one once he decides to reply but now your down time doubled and Do you really want another if he didnt see that from the get go? HTG is a bad place to shop yeah sometimes hes cheap but the stuff ther is garbage ton other places to by that are much better and more reliable.Avoid HTG unless you have time to waste. money to waste, and dont worry about possible electrical fires as his stuff sometimes sint even assembled inside.

it has moisture in it so the inside rusted or its used either one of those because lights do that after alot of usage

I have never been screwed over by htg. Every business will have unsatisfied customers seriously man think about, if their were not unsatisfied customers what would give the owners and employes the will to strive to keep their customers happy so they can put food on their plate at the end of the day.

I post my stuff in threads askin where to buy this or how can I get this. i offer my info if its a link asking for thouhghts or suggestions and I can help. i jump in these threads about htg as a senior member on the site to stop people from getting ripped off. Im am sure since you know so much you have seen me refer many hydro shops I am not affiliated with on here too like wormsway,alt gardens, progressive grow,marylandhydroponics. Those are good shops. Good prices, good equiptment and safe. Guess how I know...I have bought from all over last 15 years even HTG and he always failed. the others make it right the first time and get you perfect condition stuff or make it right overnight with extras. thats why i jump on HTG and will continue. How many shops have you bought from over the last 15 years or so? Have you shared all those4 expirences or juts great comments like "Yeah HTG is the shit"? I know what i say as I did the research i bought from many. i know what should and should happen.You please refer me to your review link to all the shops you have bought from and dealt with so we can see hopw expirenced you are in having many instances to compare to.

they have lowest listed bulb prices then look for other shop[s who say guaranteed lowest prices and have them bid against them. I got my 600 watt hortilux eye bulbs delivered for $50 each that way which is cheaper then we buy direct from the factory lol
