12/12 from Clone, how does she Look?

Here's a few pics of a Durban Poison clone given to me from a friend, she has been flowering for almost 3 weeks under a 250w HPS. I'm using FoxFarm OceanForest soil, tap water and Age Old Bloom liquid fertilizer. I did some minor LST training in week 1 to help the lower branches receive more light, as you can see there's some pretty bad stretch. This is my first time growing 12/12 from clone so I don't know what to expect. How does she look to you guys?

ya, definitely got some stretch goin, but she still looks nice n green are you checking the ph of your tap water? nice plant man, congrats!

That's a nice sized plant for a 250 watt hps. You got stretch but you also got some nice bud sites going on. They may turn into some very nice fat colas to.

yeah, but it's a cheap soil tester from my local hydro shop. It's not accurate I need a better one to test the water/runoff thats my next investment as well as a 400w ballast

it was rooted and vegged for about a week under clone floros, I got it as a trade for 3 master kush seeds

thanks I hope so I was told it would yield about an oz, which is fine for me since I have 2 other much bigger plants flowering too

pH testing strips work better than those soil testers, I've had 3 and they were all inaccurate pieces of shit, had no problems using the strips, they cost next to nothing either.

Plant looks good, but I can't believe you traded 3 Master Kush seeds for 1 Durbon Poison clone... What was the logic behind that trade? No disrespect intended, just wondering your thoughts.

well its a long story... I ordered 5 master kush beans from nirvana-shop like 3 months ago, germinated them in paper towels like I do with all my seeds, but not a SINGLE one cracked after 8 days So I e-mailed nirvana support and they resent the seeds for free. I was saving them for my next grow until a good friend here on RIU (I won't mention his name unless he wants me to) was kind enough to drive to my side of town and trade a couple of them for this beautiful clone I thought he might have better luck germing them so I gave him 3.

I'm use a 250 as well. My process has been to veg for a couple months while doing LST then moving them to flower where I pretty much leave them be except for trimming fan leaves occassionally. Thats been working out well, but the LST is a bitch. I just recently threw a clone direct into the flowering tent to see what comes of it. I'm fairly impressed with the buds thus far for the amount of work involved (read: none) compared to the LST. How close to your light do you usually have your tops? I run a cooltube and everything's cool to the touch so I could come pretty close if I wanted. I've got probably a foot of space right now just to ensure I get good coverage to the corners of my tent.

My HPS gets pretty hot, mainly because its a cheap hood with the ballast attached (big mistake), I'm saving up for a cooltube setup for my next grow. I keep the tops about 6 inches away from the glass though. I have 2 older plants that I vegged for 4 weeks before I started 12/12, they are SUPER tall and stretchy compared to the clone. I'm still learning how to LST/top properly, I always end up with a bunch of tiny tops instead of a few big ones. I'm loving the results of 12/12 from rooted clone though

thanks I appreciate it I have 2 much older plants in flower too, but they are SUPER tall and too ugly for pics lol. I'm loving the results of the clone thus far though
