precautions one should take when meeting a new "guy"?

UHhhhh.....lets see....tips to avoid getting jumped.....

1. Don't do it(wont get jumped or arrested)
2. Bring a weapon.....if its 5-0 then you get "aggravated" added to every charge.
3. If you don't know what you're talking about atleast act like you do....less likely to get ripped off.
4. Bring a friend with you just incase.....let him wait at a safe distance as to not scare the guy you're meeting off if hes a legit reliable hook up.

make him show you some id, pat him down make him move out of his area, what's the rush, ask him to come with you to a favorite bar and have a few drinks with him, don't deal on the first meeting exchange phone numbers with him and build a relationship. Remember cops are ASSHOLES and their job is to put you in jail, and teach you a lesson, he's going to want to move you along and get back to being an asshole and teaching you a lesson, pretty quickly and doesn't have the time or inclination to slow it down and get to know you, if you should get to know anyone it should be the guy you are buying from.

hey all, i did a silly thing because my source flakes way too often, and made a thinly veiled craigslist posting trying to get a bite from a possible source of our common love.

I got a bite, im just a tad paranoid about finishing a deal. Ive never had to buy from strangers before, much less strangers ive met online for these purposes.

any tips to avoid getting jumped or arrested if i decide to go forward?

yes in some areas it is that hard. i have been un able to find a dealer for years now. was never one to walk up to random ppl on the streets and say. hey you got some greens for sale. im always working threw a middle man. been months sense i have hooked up and i have had any greens

Dont meet at all. wouldnt trust it one bit. as someone else said head down to local 7/11 hang round till u find someone who looks like a smoker and ask. not ideal but better than this situation

No colleges near you? Just pop down there and ask around. Even if the people you speak to don't have any themselves, they'll probably know somebody that does. And so many college kids smoke it or are around it - the chances of them going to the police about it are practically zero.
The biggest problem will probably be that they think you might be a cop.

i get weed everywhere i go on vacation. i think it helps to know the local slang. like in florida i got weed off a dread by asking where the crippy was. before i met dread i went to the ghetto mickey d's and asked some cool looking people where the party spot was. lady in there sent me to a shady ass bar down the street. within 5 minutes i was talkin to dude bout hookin up some crippy. also helps not to shave every day and have a flat top lol.
*on a edit* juststartin is right. dude had me take him to the hood (in my parents car lol) and i was a little nervous of getting robbed or ripped off. i was in the back of my mind thinkin this is gonna be great, either he could jack us or my parents would have to come bail me out of some broke down florida jail lol. in the end he turned out to be cool as shit for someone who didnt know me one bit. even hit him with a little extra loot for hookin it up decent.

just make sure u only have enough cash on u for the bag and maybe a beer or 2 (u should offer to go for a beer and a chat) if u have an old shitty phone take that instead. u dont want anything else on ya.

do it in daylight and somewhere u feel half comfortable being! let a mate know about it and have them nearby and get them to call u at a certain time to make sure ur ok.

this would be easier in my aquantince (sp?) who buys for me would put me directly in contact with her guy, but i don't know how to ask her, without being rude.
Its also very possible that she is taking some for herself or taking a cut from the sale. i wouldnt be mad if she was, b/c without her ive got nothing.
