Jeezzzz Dude! If U.K. packages are just delivered to the "address", then why bother to put anybodies effen "name" on it????? In the States, mail is sent to a "named individual" at a "certain address". Most postmen know the "names" of the folks on his route. If he comes upon a piece of mail with an "unknown name" at any given "address", it will usually be kicked-back as "Addressee Unknown". I sure hope this clears things up, as I don't know how to make it any simpler!
And to those of you who have used "phoney" names to order seed, and didn't get them, blame your mailman, he probably sent your package BACK as Addressee Unknown to the "phoney" return address that the seed bank used, and now your beans are rotting in some dead letter office somewhere. "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive".
Good luck & good grow......BB
