Just thought I'd share as this strain is amazing imho.

As you can see from the grow closet shot...my conditions are not perfect...but she grows like they are. The buds are hard and swelling.

Sorry for the blah image quality of the shots...just getting used to a new camera.

The new camera added a lot of red overall...the buds are not at all 100% rust colored like they appear but do have A LOT of curling red hairs...the bud color is more like you see in the cfl pic...green, red hairs and white trichs.

Are you 37 days from seed or on 12/12? What wattage/soil, etc. are you using?

Ummm I thought you didn't push autoflowering kush into 12/12. I thought it was suppose to be 20/4. Maybe that's why your plant isn't looking like his. And yes that's going to be a nice yield. How many cfl's did you use? Looks like you got 42 watt cfl bulbs. Nice work

Im also growing Ak48 and im about a month into veg. Have you already smoked this strain before? if so how was it? Im really hoping for some potent buds!

How does it smell?

Well she's in the basement which is where the ac feeds off of and when the ac is on the house smells like pot. I'm kinda desensitized now though to be honest.

If you touch a bud...your fingers smell extra sweet and the temptation to lick your fingers is overwhelming.

Thanks. she grew really fast once put into 12/12. So much faster than my first grow. Thankfully I got a clone off of her...because she might be a bit of a freak!

So now I have her, another ak 48 seed that's 4 weeks into vegging and a 6" fully rooted/growing clone of the girl in the pic. I am actually hopeing the seed is a male so as to get seeds off of her clone.

37 days from flower. 6 weeks of vegging. Soil is Green Thumb Professional Potting Mix. (bought from a local nursery...wasn't that much $$$)

Lights are only 26 watts each (8 of them I believe) but they are draped around a 5' 2 tube fluorescent fixture that has two 40 watt cool tubes. I have been really anal about making sure they are close to bud sites so lots n lots of adjustments.

If she has Autoflowering kush...well I am growing AK48 from regular (non-feminized seed) So I don't think an auto flower strain will be able to yield as much ???

No sorry I have not smoked any. I am exercising monk like control in making sure every bud gets to full ripeness on this girl.

But yeah you HAVE to like what she can produce!

Hey has anyone here crossed AK48 with anything? I got freebie mazar-i-shariff seeds when i ordered the ak...and I've been conisidering another small seed purchase...maybe C99...maybe Red Cherry Berry...maybe the pure (skunk 1). Freebies if I get through GNSB again are PPP.
