You only need one timer. You can buy a cheap one at Walmart for $10 bucks. Also, you probably don't need for than 4 or 5 on/off cycles.

Digital timers are about $30-$60 and have intervals with increments as small as a second. Non-digital timers usually only have intervals with increments as small as 10-15 Min only there about $10-$15. pet stores have power strips in both forms digital and non-digital that control multiple pieces of equipment that require different schedules there about $30-$50.

Dude,
Listen.
Go to walmart, buy the 5 dollar timer with 96 15 minute tabs. You are doing hydro? Ebb and flow or drip? It doesnt matter! For both you need to water for 2-3 times a day for 1 tab or 15 minutes. Depending on how big your plants are. 3 - 15 minute intervals is all thats necesary for big veg and blooming, during the time when the lights are on. This is taken from personal experience and asking people who know.

Dont buy the load of crap and the stupid expensive time that does it all in one. What a fucking waste. They will sell you anything, make sure you do your homework before you roll up in there with your benjamins next time ya dig?

To the dude that spent $500 on a timer. Wow. Im not going to put you down, but that is fucking retarded man. Its a fucking weed for chrissakes.

i've got a few quick questions for any hydro growers out there. i just finished my first indoor grow of super skunk and diesel from g13labs.. the seeds where freebies from the attitude.. my first grow was in soil under a 250 hps.. i know i know, lol.. i was thinking of trying a hydro grow for my next attempt, and had just read this article in Skunk magazine where the author says to use a 50/50 blend of vermiculate and perlite as a soilless mix to grow in.. all of his logic sounds good to me for using this mix, more oxygen available to the roots, etc.. my question is this.. i have seeds that i want to start.. last time i started them using the paper towel method, and once sprouted, i put them in dirt.. easy cheesy japenesy.. but if i were to go with the perlite/vermiculate mix, what would b the best way to germ my seeds? should i use the same paper towel method as before, and once they sprout, put them in a rockwool cube, or can i even germ them in the rockwool? i think i have read that you can germ right in the rockwool, but i am not positive of this.. and here is my major concern.. after i have the seed or seedling growing in the rockwool cube, how do i go about transplanting it into my new soilless hydro mix? the article just talks about doing a basic handwatering with nutes everytime that i have to water the plants, which sounded fine by me, as i said, i am still a newby to growing, and any method that just sounds nice and basic and not too many moving parts etc. sounds like a great way for me to get me feet wet, so to speak, with hydro.. any help out there is greatly appreciated..
