Heres what I do not sayen its right or wrong and I tried many, many different ways over the 27 years of operation.
First thing id get is an air conditioner attic sounds hot

If your attic is big enough
Rustle up - 1 4x8 sheet of plywood
4 1x4x8' Boards
8 2x2x8' Boards
1 120v 1000watt ballast
1 1000 watt super HPS
1 24hr Timer
2 Big Bales of Professional Growers Mix only!not peet moss(Miracle Grow
works)
1 Rubber maid garden can(for fluids)(hold 120L water)
1 Utility pump with garden hose fitting
1 25 foot or length you need of garden hose
1 Garden watering wand
2 Aero pumps with 8 stones(use splitters all in same reservoir)
1 roll of white and black poly
1 roll of clear plastic
Lots of deck screws
1 Small Fan
25' of utility chain(the small stuff)
Enough electrical chord to to hook yer timer and light up
You will need to fab up a mount so it holds yer light horizontal not vertical
1 pale of 30-10-10 evergreen plant food
1 pale of 10-52-10 evergreen plant food
1 PH, TDS, Temperature Meter (paper and drops suck)
1 plumbers torch
1 cheap but works thermometer
You may need to vent or intake?
Take all this and make a 4'x8' box with 4" walls, take the 2 by 2's and build a frame around it and make roof high as ya can for comfort of you (*screw to side of box, do not let screws go into box as you will line that with clear poly and fill it with the growers mix, once you have a frame built corner to corner and length to length take the black and white poly white side in of course and cover over it like ya would a lawn tractor, nice and neat and no light can get in from outside, make fold over doors on both sides or on one..space? now you have a setup to put 50 clones in staking them 5 wide by ten long...fill the rubber maid bucket with 120 l of water and 30 ml of food per 6 litres of water and water them night you start then water em straight three days later then feed em again with food four days later so every week same time twice once food once water and so on, use that utility pump and garden hose to pump out resorvoir...keep ph stable all the time 6.2, up and down it with food...never ever go over 500 ppm TDS for dirt...and do same time, every time...every day two or three times a day when they are awake light that plumbers torch and run it inside for 1 min or 2 i do 2 with 7ft ceiling..if you vent out then do after vent goes off..put vent on timer...practice makes perfect..benefits of turning light sideways and going 120v on yer ballast a:less power usage b:40% more lumens to plant c:1/2 the heat, i run one on a 8' track. 1 week at 18 and 6 hrs and 8 weeks at 12 and 12 hrs and i produce 3.5 pounds..now depending on your enviro build to suit...veg longer with smaller amounts. Water sucks cause of leaks and in yer attic do ya really want leaks?? Algie problems baby setten all the time, this way here i love em and leave em.....
