Aqua globes

has anyone tried using those? i think it sounds pretty useful.

sounds pretty gay... sry.. waste of $12.. u want ur soil to dry up and then add water, and the globes dont allow that...they like to suck out all the moisture and then get refed... if u think its a good idea cuz ull know when its time to water or so u dont over water, jus lift ur pot after u water... then lift it when its dried out, ull feel the diff in weight... thats a good way to know when to water.. as for over water??? its hard to over water them with 1 watering so as long as u wait till they r dry to water u shouldnt have a problem unless ur 1 of those guys who like to water ur 1gal pot with 6 gals of water

i didnt buy one i just wanted to see what people had to say about it, but now that i think about it, it sounds like a rip off

yup.. they r more of a house plant thing... it adds decor to there home and so ppl that dont really have to tend to thier plants.. they see its empty so they refill it.. and house plants dont really need to be or happened to be cared for daily or every other day.. but if ur growin weed, ur tending to them or i would hope so anyways...

That's funny that you would say that. I have to go out of town in sept for a week and thought of getting some to keep the soil moist while I'm gone. I only need it for that week and can't convince myself that it's worth the money..... I would need at least 4 sets. So I bought a digital timer that has a setting for each day of the week. I was thinking I could just hook that up to my spare pump and give them all a 5 gallon bucket to drink from til I get back. But then I keep thinking what if the power goes off. Fucking going out of town for a week sucks!!!!

ahhha... see they r good to return shit, i do it all the time.. i have even returned battaries after i used them.. i swear!!! i even return shit from other stores if i cant find the receipt

i used two on my outdoor grow they dont work for a week like they say they do maybe for a day or two. once they lasted for 3 days and the sun wasnt out at all during those three days.

yes but that is outside.. the water runs farther down then in a contained pot... ya they probly still suk but if thats what ya gotta do... jus givem em a nice soak and if u can put a tray or frisbee under to colect sum water so the soil can suk it bak up and hope those stupid balls work!!! best of luck 5!!!

I plan on drenching them before I leave so I think they will be ok for 7 days. They're small and shouldn't take much. I only water every 2-3 days anyway now. I don't think I will have any problems.....

Just fill a two litter bottle with water. Drill a small hole in the cap. Save yourself the $15.

Large tupperware or bucket, drill a hole in it and connect hose. Use gravity and an automatic watering timer. Smaller version of a guerilla watering method but it works...

I just got missed by a half mile from a huge storm that went through yesterday. I lost power for 2 hours. I don't want to trust this crop to the electric co, I'd rather use the globes.

House plants need to be tended to just like weed. If you actually care about your plants, that is...
