Just remember, cops are paid hourly so when they create work for themselves they are rewarded monetarily. Translation: Cops think it's funny to waste your tax dollars by creating bullshit charges through passive aggressive and dishonest behavior. All made possible by you, the American taxpayer.

Is that 'conflict of interest' I hear?

God Bless America!

It isn't so much that cops don't care as it is good for business to physically assault you.

I view it like this. Cops assault people because they know they can get away with it and they will not be held accountable for their actions. In addition to not receiving a negative stimulus, punishment, they are actually rewarded monetarily, positive stimulus. Cop beats the shit out of Evil Marijuana Guy and is sued. Once on the stand the cop points to Evil Marijuana Guy and tells everyone that he is a threat to human decency and he was defending himself against this drug terrorist. Court time and paperwork, all this to the tune of time and half for the cop. Our tax dollars hard at work. If you think about it, "I" the taxpayer pays a cop to beat the shit out of "you", my fellow taxpayer.

Cop beatings are very profitable for a cop. Very little downside risk (no accountability) combined with a significant monetary upside potential (time and a half, possibly double time).

No negative stimuli and a fantastic positive stimuli. Pavlov's dogs got a raw deal but not our great American cops.

God Bless America! I love this fucking country.

Next year I'm going to ask the IRS if I can pay more in taxes voluntarily. That way the cops will have more money to beat the shit out of you fucking terrorists who smoke marijuana.
