So its been two weeks since you switched to 12/12 huh? Man with your size pots and the amount of veg given I say atleast another week and a half till you see sex. Being root bound will slow them way down bro, thats why I was saying you need to get a couple and concentrate on them and get them into bigger pots.

Those thing are going to get rootbound before they are done flowering and you are not doing yourself any favors by doing that

Go down to your local nusery and spend the 3 dollars a pot for something worth while or cut a 2 litre bottle in half and use that if you want so save some cash

Those plants need room for the roots to grow

Did you ever see a picture of 12 people trying to get into a phone booth, that what is happening with your roots

well thanks for the advice, but for right now these new pots will be good enough. and when they need more space i will give them more space. but this is only my second grow and i will be growing WAY less next time around and have a spot that will provide plenty of room. but for now im content with them.

If your going through the risk, time, & effort you might as well make sure your not screwing yourself by skimping on containers

If your going to do something do it right

They may get routbound in those guys as well but you will soon find out one way or another

Good luck on the grow

Tcurtiss is right. I learned about Root Bound the hard way, my yield dropped significantly and also had nutrient problems all the way to the finish line. If you cant afford the height for bigger pots you can make really wide pots from all sorts of containers. poke some holes in the bottom and your Good to go! roots will love the extra room to explore.

If you've ever seen a hydro root system you'll understand how root crazy these plants actually are!

Nice set up by the way :-P

Bud thanks for seconding what I am saying, once he said he could see roots coming out of the bottom of the cups I knew those guys were rootbound

Casper just watch those guys, like I said it is a big effort on your part.

Just make sure you are doing everything you can to make sure you have healthy plants

ok so here is the update. as you can see i lost the rubbermaid tub and added my greenhouse rack. found three females today, and found three males yesterday(which were destroyed.) the girls are looking super healthy and in the last week they have all just exploded.
going to be getting some mylar this coming week to surround the rack.

*will also be transplanting to bigger pots in the next two weeks.
thanks for the input guys.

Looking good!!! I like the upgrade man, bigger pots is the way to go for bigger buds man. You could also add some more lights with the set up as well. Personally I'd lose the big round "reflectors", imo they disperse more heat than anything. Its up to you in the long run just say you could fit more lights with the added space. Looking real good though man kiu!!!
