Wow stoners doing maths :P

A 1.5oz glass is 50% bigger than a 1oz glass, meaning a 1oz glass is only 2/3 the size of a 1.5oz plants. I would estimate then that a plants grown in a 1.5oz glass would grow 50% bigger
also meaning that the 1 oz glass is 1/3 smaller than the 1.5 oz...
thank u

do you guys have defined rules or a way to determine winner yet? what page can they be found on?

i say the winner is the first person to harvest a fully developed bud

i cant wait to see roots growing out of shotglasses.... who said(on one of the pages i read through) that they dont get rootbound, that the plant will grow to the size of the container? that not true and its contradictory. if it became rootbound it would stop growing. but eventually the roots will try to grow out of the tiny pots im sure

also i think you guys should start a shotglass showcase, show the pictures there and nothing else, maybe a short message about how the grows going, but no chit chat, and have the discussion here because this thread is gettin long and confusing already

.5 is half of something
when u add 150% of something to something ,ur increasing it 1 1/2 times what it was......
when u add .5 to something the new percentage is still 100% genius.....so i guess it is hard, for some people
and .5 of 1.5 is 1/3 in case u didnt know
This is still incorrect. First off we start the numbers with 1 because hes not using a 1.5 shot glass, so that 1/3 number is BS. Beyond that 100% of anything is 1. If that shot glass was 50% the size then it would be a .5 glass, but its not its .5 over making it 150%. Not to mention the simple fact that .5 is a huge deal in a situation like this. Eitherway please google 100% then 150% before you reply.

Exactly what I was thinking. Probably benefit you also to either google it or even better open an image program and set the scale to 50%. It won't get larger

ok so say u add .5 and it makes 150%
and u wanna add all that to something else.....do u say add 100%?
or add 150%?
u think what u want and ill think what i want....but im sure if u were trying to explain to someone how much to add u would not say add 150%
and u start off with 1.5 cuz i was trying to explain that his glass was only 1/3 smaller....he was sayin that our glasses were 150% bigger than his
and how is it a big diff when everyone is gonna have the same prob....let alone its all for fun

Ah no 'he' (me) was saying that a 1.5oz cup is 50% bigger than his (my) 1oz cup whic is correct. He (I) was never confused as to how to refer to the difference in size, so please leave him (me) out of it.
