I love it!! sounds like a great opportunity to experiment. And your right, it would be better to chop the whole thing up for clones and start over with new root systems. One seed was germinated to insure viabiltiy. It germinated in 27 hours at 100% humidity (pure saturation) at 95 degrees F.

Well, I switched service providers. As you can imagine its not an easy task out here. It took new equipment, satellite, and wiring to get done but what a difference!
As for the garden: The Arjans Haze still seems to show its finicky face when I least expect it. (I guess I should always expect it) I decided that giving up is not the option that I stand for so I will finish them outside of the scrog. What I have done is carefully pulled back all the growth that was through the screen (about 60%full) and lifted the screens off and out of the flowering room. I have then re-LST'd the plants main branches down below horizontal. The inner growth that would have been removed from the scrog is now being allowed to grow. The plants are much larger than I planned for however I am also considering transplanting to 20 gal containers and allowing these plants to grow to full potential. I think there is enough growth so far to easily produce a pound per plant and I would suspect that if I moved these plants to a larger area, that they will produce several pounds each. The main stalk on each plant is close to 2" at base. The growth pattern between the two phenos is becoming more dramatic as they mature. The odor of these plants is amazing. I would say wet pine is the most common smell with undertones that remind me of Christmas time. The leaf structure is inconsistent due to stress and lack of essentially required nutes. Node spacing is amazingly tight for such pure sativa, I would contribute this to the training. Overall these plants have given me hell, but I believe in Arjans genetics and am going to see them to the end. I will more than likely give the scrog of these plants another shot at a later date, however I do have additions to the garden that will be the most immediate replacement.
As for the Rhino: Believe it or not: MALE
From a fem seed pack, I got a pure male.... Don't really know what to say about that other than the mistake was quickly resolved and the company was kind enough to make it right as well as good!
Replacements: I have been given two more clones of Jacks Cleaner in one container (don't ask). They rooted and will need to be given some time to come back to veg before I separate them. They were taken from a flowering mother (at week two) that was the best of the stock. By best I mean potency and yield. Unfortunately for me, the pheno is more of a cleaner smell than the yummy lemon that I like so much. I will be taking another clone of that pheno however, just at a later time when there is room in the garden.
The next to replace the Rhino will be BC beaster boy, AKA "CHUCKY". This was given to me as a clone by an old school grower from Colorado who guerrilla grew this strain in the desert for years. There are many stories about this plant being taken out by law enforcement over the years. This plant had a history of becoming the areas cash crop and most desired buzz which made it a target for crappy situations. Before the stain was lost to Uncle Sam for good, the creator low crawled into the garden at night and took back the genetics right out from under the nose of "The Man"~! The get away story was enough to convince me that it must have been something special for this person to have gone through such lengths to preserve the genetics. We'll see!
