Hello there,
this is the first time i get premium seeds and try to grow them myself with absolutly no help (only help taken from a lot of youtube videos and grow chronic documental).
last time i tried to do it was with some seeds a friend gave me but they ended all dead because i watered too much i think..
well.. let's start shall we?
Day 1:
i went to my local hardware store and i bought some ph 6.3 soil (because the one i have it's ph 5) and i did this because i dunno how to ph up or down the soil with vinegar or baking soda, i don't have a measuring system so i just looked for the one with the most friendly ph. I also got some fertilizer and some rooting compound (yeah, i want to clone later).
the seeds came yesterday and i'm ready to start the germination process.
i will use a different systemto germinate because the one you need a glass flask and put cotton inside it didnt work the last time... i just killed the seeds with fungus or something like that.
my so called "equipment" right now is:
1. 25 kilograms of ph 6.3 soil
2. fertilizer (250ml)
3. flowering fertilizer (250ml)
4. rooting compound (100ml)
5. a lot of pots
6. a heater (because here in south america is winter now)
7. a fan (to keep air moving)
8. a 120 leds mini lamp (made by myself)
9. a black plastic wine bottle container (i will post a pic of this. i've got it from a wine seller who left it in the street)
10. rubbing alcohol (i want to keep every container, flask, tool really clean so i use it very often)
11. cotton
plastic pots, electricity, water (lol) etc etc etc.
I placed the seeds inside the black plastic which has good tiny spaces in between seeds. I placed one per hole and using a syringe i managed to drop a few water drops on top of the seeds very carefully. After this i will try to use the heater as much as i can to maintain a good warm temperature inside my room.
if the seeds gets too much water i will use the fan system i made so the water gets dry faster and the seeds are not in danger to have diseases.
Day 2:
i've checked the seeds, there havent cracked yet, i had to put them more water because the cotton was really dry. i used the heater a lot today because it was really cold...
