few questions about palnts/soil/bugs

so this is my first time growing ever and
my plants are 100% naturally grown i never gave any fert or anything just stirred up the dirt n planted seeds
they are between a garage and shed like 2 ft apart.. they get lots of sun thers air movement water(i water if it doesnt rain) they arent deprived of anything.

i had 6 plants growing which all seemed to be females. i noticed i had 3 plants that are budding and 3 that were only flowering..the 3 that were flowering seemed to just keep growing and growing with no sign of bud so i chopped them(were like 6 ft while others are 3-4ft tall and im trying to hide these from neighbours)i came out this morning to take a look and realised i got 2 plants budding but also have seeds..are hermys worth letting grow for harvesting?were the flowering plants male? and are a hermys seeds random sex or just female?


also is there any cheap way to test dirt? for like the ph and nitrogen amounts?


also.. any good home remedys for spiders mites? had a prboelm seem to have solved it but just curious as to what other have tried (unable to get neem oil) i used rubbing alcohol with water like 25%75%mix..worked if i sprayed often but if ilet it go for 2+days they would be right back

Yes hermies will get you high. They are not as potent but they are not worthless either. The other plants may have been male (no way to tell w/o pics). You can get a soil test kit at any garden center for about $10 that tests NPK and pH. Best of luck and welcome to RIU.

what about the seeds?are they random sex or femnized?
also i have 1 plant thats just female thats about 3/4 ft away from the hermys..
shoudl i try to keep it away from them so it doesnt get converted?can it be changed during bud?

If the pollen came from a hermie then they will probably be either feminized or hermie. If you have a true female near hermies then what you need to worry about is pollen. The hermies can pollinate your female and seed the hell out of it. Look for male flowers on the suspected plant. If they are open then it's probably too late. If not, I would cut the hermies down and try to save the female. Hermies are not as potent as pure females, although they are not worthless as some will tell you. Also seeded bud is not as potent.

well i think the pollen came from my "flowerinG" plants
they had pot leafs but grew weird flowers ive never seen b4... lol
like a week ago i hit one of the flower plants n a bunch of powder flew in the air... that was prob pollen eh?
these seeds i had were suppsoed to be al lfemnized so maybe thats how these grew hermys too..
and i only got 3 growing and they are in the ground not pots so if i "move" them there going to die
i was thinking maybe get 1 of those wrap things to put around my female plant ...
other then that i might just say fuck it let it get pollenated for some seeds next year..
its my frist grow im not too worried just getting bud would be nice and femnized seeds wouldnt be to obad for next year
ill spend some more $$ get pots n such for a better grow

It sounds like it's too late to do anything about it. Just ride it out and you'll have some seeded bud to smoke at harvest. It will still be better than any commercial bud you will find and it's free!!
