Greeting all.

My first journal and post. Advice and comments welcome.

I'm trying a kick at the can with organics. Starting with a soiless mix of 40% coco, 40% perlite and 20% vermeculite using Botanicare for fert. I have one 400w MH and a couple cfl's. The temp hovers around 24C/75F and I keep my soil ph around 6.3.

I vegged for 8 weeks and now they're at day 19 of flowering. A liitle long on the veg this time and if I'd do it over again I would have cropped them all. The jilly bean took to it really well, the purp stretched a little.

So of the 5 plants I have 3 purps and 2 jilly's. The tallest one (Jilly Bean) is 4'.

One of the purps mutated early turning itself into a wonderful little bush. Although it does have the least amount of bud currently.

All plants had their share of thrip early on. At least that's what I'm blaming this damage on. Unless someone else tells me it's fungus or some shit.

All this being said I think it's going alright so far. 6 more weeks until the first one comes down I figure.

I'll keep you guys posted.

All seems to be going well. A few leaves are starting to drop on the lower branches. The buds are growing rapidly now. Another 4-5 weeks should do er. Had to so a little extra odor control yesterday. It's super fruity in there.

Burnt my bald head on the 400w too. Those things are fucking hot dudes.

I also moved the room around a little. Made me take notice of this beauty Purps bud. None of the indoors have turned out purple yet, but I have one outside that is. I'll throw a pic on here when I get a chance.

Nice, I got 4 tga/subcool strains going right now including 2 jillybeans. Just tiny sprouts right now but I hear great things about these strains so I'm pretty syked. Your plants are looking great there.

Nice plants Ill be starting 20 jillybean and 10 3rd dimension in about 3 weeks Ill have a nice journal.

Givershit.... what was the germination like for you for the TGA seeds? And out of how many you started with turned out to be female plants?

Really interested in knowing. Thanks

I had 10 seeds from awhile back (maybe 3 years ago) that I got thru BCBD. I started all 10 and 8 germed. Out of those 8 I got 5 females.

They were all started in peat, no seedling mat, kept around 24C/75F. I used bottled water.

I may have to bring in the 2 outdoor's it's getting a little cold out here at night. Hopefully they can hang on for another month.

This little girl will have to come inside soon it was 7C/47F last night. She's been flowering for about a week now. I don't wanna bring her in just yet in case she screws up my indoor plants so this could get interesting...

howdy there givershit.

i like the set up, i also see that you put up white mylar on the walls!! + rep

keeping it clean is the best ya know, the better enviorment you plants are around is the way they will turn out.

read alot about the jillybean... has a terrrific background of genetics, you should defidently recommend topping her several times if you can and it is also adaptable to high grow room temperatures adn has a creeper high with a body relaxation.

give her about 63-65 days till harvest.

also what was that strain outdoors? you can defidently tell it has been getting cold around you due to the top of the cola leafs turning purple. ofcourse if always could be geneticw too.

anywho im out

take care GS, im Crippledguy!

keep it green!

Thanks for the advice man.

That plant outside is BCBD's The Purps. She's been showing her true colors for about a week now. The other two beside her are Jilly Bean. They're not showing any colors yet so I'm hoping it's in the genes.

Crippledguy if you have any links to some info on the jillybean it would be greatly appreciated.

First one's Jilly Bean, Second is the Purps.
