Is it my imagination, or are my first set of leaves rather large...the whole thing is 1.25 inches tall.

See, I thought it started droopy from overwatering, but I let it get pretty dry in that little cup at one point...it's just very big droopy leaves. Dry, watered, they look like that.

Here is a better shot, for any possible diagnosis of any possible issues...

I haven't been testing ph, just letting tap water sit out for some time.

Because most your tap water or whatever your using is usually around or high then 6.5, which is the lowest point for growing, go's up from there, its a waste of time, what ever water your using should be fine, unless you some nasty mother fucer haha

A while a ago i was in a hydro shop, guy told my homie the same thing who asked what you did, i mean if you want to fine, that good for you but its real un necessary

My tap is 7.8-8.2, I think you are correct that you usually don't have to ph for soil because good soil usually provides a nice buffer. I would think it may be a good idea to ph your water for this shot glass though. There is a very small amount of media and it looks like Sharpies plants is already running into nutrient problems.

I would say a regular fertilization schedule, strict ph monitoring, and occasional flushing will mean life and death in the shot glass grow off . . .
