Because most your tap water or whatever your using is usually around or high then 6.5, which is the lowest point for growing, go's up from there, its a waste of time, what ever water your using should be fine, unless you some nasty mother fucer haha

A while a ago i was in a hydro shop, guy told my homie the same thing who asked what you did, i mean if you want to fine, that good for you but its real un necessary
ph has a scale from 1-14
how is 6.5 the lowest

u said u let it dry out and it was still like that
That's what I'm saying.

If you look at the 3rd pic I posted, you see those brown marks on the edges...it looks almost burnt, that's when I was watering only every other day. Once the two leaves split while growing, they just fell to the sides like that.

I think it will be okay, I was just feeling them.

Hmmm....

I don't think you should be watering every day

See, the edges look burnt, I thought because I let it get too dry (soil was dry), and the leaves were low like that then too.

It started in Miracle Grow, which I'm sure there was some still clinging to the roots. Other than that, it's in Scotts top soil. I let the water sit out to lower the ph. If the ph is too high, is there any simple technique that doesn't involve purchasing another product right now? (I'm so broke!!)

sicc i wasnt meaning it like dont listen at all bro im just sayin a lot of people say dont water every day which aint true bro i water mine every day sometimes twice and i have had no problems ... if i dont water her then she droops and looks terrible sorry if i offended u

sharpie ive heard lot of people tell me they had problems with miracle grow that could be your problem too but to me looks like ph problem because of the burns in the leaves if it was over watered they would be yellow and drooping .. not burning

From what I know, it seems like the ph is the issue. I say this because the leaves have had those tiny burns on the edges since it got droopy...and during that time, the soil went from moist, to very dry, to moist again with the leaves looking pretty much the same. I read that I can use vinegar to lower ph. Would I just put a drop per liter of water? Or more?
