help plz noob growing....

hi im new here and i need alittle help.....
i been doin little work on my plant since i finally found time after 3 weeks shitty work to take care of them. 2 died now i only got one that is about 8 inchs tall. its in top soil n was just taken inside to day because its getting cold n looks like some leaves got eat? or burned? its only had 6 leafs n 2 are eaten or burned i been looking at it nicely makin sure its ok. n its getting sun light from one of the windows.
my qestions are....

1 so do need to change my soil to something eles because i dont think its growing very fast its only 8 inchs at 3 weeks old.

is the light im giving it enough?

what kindia cheap light system can i get?

idk what kindia seed it was but it came from some crank i was smoking and it only has 4 leaves? shoudl i worry with it being 8 inchs tall n only having 4 leafs?

Can you give us pics of your plant. Its very hard to understand what your saying and without pics makes it even harder.

As for lighting those led lights dont produce enough useable light for the plant to flourish. Use some decent CFL lights. there is a great forum on here about growing with CFL's

8" doesn't sound too bad considering, but yeah it would be much easier to tell with pics. If it was outside, most likely it did get eaten, check the plant over carefully as whatever has been eating on it may still be there. If you're looking for a cheap light to start indoors with - go with either a Fluorescent tube, or a couple of CFL's - either one will do, cheap, make sure to get the 6500K for vegging your baby, 2700K for flowering. when u say flowering do u mean when it gots buds on it? also whats good watts for veg and flowering with cfl and how many per plant? *i have one 8 inch and 2 coming up very very small and say 5 more im expecting

Yes, flowering = budding, (which is triggered by putting the plant in 12/12 lighting, in case you weren't aware).

Your wattage should be decided by the size of your grow space, rather than on a number of plants. What are it's dimensions?

right now its jsut 1 8inch plant 2 coming up out of the ground in the same 8 by 8 pot which i need to move ti new pot when i get my lights and i got about 6 more pots im trying to sprout which has around 40 seeds planted im hoping on atleast 5 to grow so put it this way 1 8 inch plant and 7 sprouts
