i need help on harvesting

my plants are ready to be harvested.. what should i do? how should i cut it? what do i do after i cut them? tell me how to dry and cure it.. any help would be greatly appreciated

when you decide its ready to harvest you can just cut it at the main stem and start trimming away anything that isnt bud with a pair of scissors. hang dry in a dark dry place for about a week untill the stems snap instead of bend. then cure in mason jars and "burp" the jar every few days

how old is your plant? indica or sativa? a picture would help

if you dry till the stems snap, when you cure it, can you still get the same sticky dank weed as if the stem were still a little bendy.
i dont like weed that crumbles between my fingers too much.
