pH meter question (soil)

use a digital ph meter and check the ph of your runoff water with it. this will give you a decent idea of what the overall ph is.
 
get something like this at home depot

i think those cheap ass probe ph testers end up being a waste of money. inaccurate. check ebay you can find decent digital ph meters there for like 20 bucks. well worth the money and the wait for them to be shipped.

Ur runoff water ph is not accurate

get a soil ph tester and test it a couple hours after a watering

on amazon they got em for 10 bucks

hmm thats odd.

when i run ph water threw my hempy bucket it comes out exactly the same as it did before i watered.

when i run the runoff from my soil grows it raises a few points. which in return tells me that my ph of my soil is higher than that oh the ph of the water i use.

because of this i set the ph of my water .3 lower than i want the end result to be.
 
alright, im gonna try just a regualr digital pH meter. im gonna check the runoff and see if i can make any conclusions. hopefully i can..

there is a thread on here thar goes on for 15 pages about what's better

do what works for you mane
 
yo dont hate but ive never messed with my soils PH, i mean i dont think i have too. im still going to get one because im curious to know. also, dont hate, but if the PH was off, how do you go about raising or lowering it?

ya can buy ph perfect mineral water but check the label for the exact ph the water is
