Hey man, Nice ladies! (hopefully) I'm runing a similar setup (DIY w/2 plants, same nutes, 4x27w daylights and a 64w cool white) and was wondering how you control you PH/ how often do you water?
Good luck and sub'd!
thanks for the support,
well. i bought a an electrical pH meter off amazon for about $14, and i keep my pH at 5.5-6.5. generally, our tap water is more alkaline than the acidity but the foxfarm nutes lowers the pH from about 7-8 to 5-6, making it ideal for the first couple days, but when some nutrient is being used up, the pH slowly rises again. at this point, i would place around 5 drips of white vinegar into the growing solution and the pH should decrease a little bit.
About watering, i usually feed my plants about 1 liter (1/3 gallon) a day (i have changed to 1.5gallon tubs as they are much easier to handle). As the roots are now growing in a quick pace, i generally keep the tub filled up to the tip of the lid and that may be the simplest way to manage the watering.
