Plants will be unattended for two weeks.

I will not be able to tend my plants for two weeks, 8 weeks into a grow. There are three indica strain plants in a rock wool medium using an automated ebb and flow irrigation system.

The biggest issue is the water change that will not be done day 7.

I would appreciate any advise as to best practices.

BTW This is my first grow.

Thanks,
OneWolf

Can you hook up another res to that one so when it runs out you have another in place somehow, or use a bigger one?.

I would get a watering globe or watering spikes.

the globes average about 10 bucks for a pack of 2. target and walgreens sells them. you can also get them on amazon and ebay. ebay of corse has the best deals for them if you have the time to wait for shipping. about $3. the spikes you can get at any hardware store with a gardening section. they're about $2 for a 3 pack. but you could also make your own. notice how the watering spikes attach to a water bottle? well, you can replace the spikes for ordinary drinking straws.

actually you can do this with one of those
plastic tubes that cigars come in.

i just took a hot glue gun and glued the cigar
tube to a water bottle and put it in the soil.

its actually very useful when you dont want
to be bothered with watering all the time
or if you are going on vacation.

i personally have one in my plant at all times
to save me the trouble of watering it.
