Hi,

Yea, that little system would be good for clones really.
Depends on how much you want to grow and how often you want to change the res.

That system would grow a fine little crop if you dont have much space. Matinance would be twice a week and you could get an oz or two. Probably less the first time around while you learn.

I dont buy systems, I look at the ad and then go get the parts and make one myself... but thats just me.

Oh, and the size of the hole dont matter in this type of system.

that seems like a good deal to me, depending on shipping of course. its gonna cost ya that much probably to piece a system together yourself, and it will save you some headache when trying to find some of the harder to find pieces.

Dude that system is a total rip off you could build 2 systems better for that price!

Sterilite 10 gal tub......6 dollars

3.75 netpots (better than those 3") 1.50 a piece.....9 dollars

air pump......12 dollars

Hydroton.......5 dollars

airstones.......3 dollars

airline.........one dollar

so far 36 dollars

and that system isnt light proof
the airstones suck
the airpump isnt adequate
the dripper system is a joke


If you have an adequate air pump and stones you dont need a dripper the bubbles splashin off the surface of the water is sufficient to water your seedling. The netpots are small so when your plant gets bigger they wont want to stand up on their own. Here is a link to my grows using almost an identical setup that is home made.
