lighting not enough

ok so ive been trying three cfls 18 inch and they are doing ok i have three plants and there all doing okay all six inches from start a month and a half ago whats wrong with them?

there 18 in away? if so put them as close as u can to the bulbs even if the bump em it wont hurt. also w/ 3 plants ur gona need more light soon, but at 6 in those should be enough

okay well the lights are right next to em and how come there growing so slow there in a high nutrient soil its mushroom compost mixed with poop from the store

yea but if u got an hps the cfls start seeming pointless, at least when i made the switch from flouro to hps for flower i used both but after like two weeks i just dropped the cfls,

Its well worth the money. You should get an mh\Hps conversion lamp. Good stuff.

All I have to add is keep the bulbs 1 to 2 inches away - CFL bulbs WILL burn your plant if they are touching it. Good luck!

depends... theres a hydro shop round here that sells a 150 watt hps, ballast + bulb for 90 bucks new... comes with a warranty n shit... i don't get it cuz it gets hot... but two of those is 300 watts of pure unadulterated LIGHT for under 200 bucks....

The police don't care if your growing with cfls or hps. I always say if your gonna commit a crime to go big with it. Felonies are all the same here.
