grinding buds with fingers = less potent bud..?

some of us like to chop bud with our fingers when we dont have anything other tools around, but im noticeing tons off sticky goodness left behind on my fingers.. this could mean im taking alot of trichomes off the bud vs lets say scissors?

I never really grind it up with my fingers. I seperate it into tiny little nugs so I can keep all the nice gooey resin intact.

lol sod skinning up using scissors to break it up will take ages. yeah i its pretty inevitable that you lose some of the trichs on your fingers but i dont think it matters that much i lost my grinder a very long time ago and i dont realy think im missing out on very much.
one of my mates refuses to use a grinder as he swears that they rob even more of your trichs and he has got some good points too

Off topic, but I refuse to store my ganja in anything plastic like a sandwich baggie or something like that, you lose alot of trichomes because they adhere to the plastic because it can carry an electrical charge, glass all the way

That's why you need one of these. There's even a screen in the bottom to catch random trichs/kief/hash. $20

Yea before I started growing I would get some nice dank only to see a shit load of trichomes everywhere in the bag. I use air tight jars now since I done grown up.

if i lose some trichs fuck it
i can always buy another bagggy of weed.
not much of a big deal in my opinion
