First time grower with a couple q's

Hello rollitup, this is my first post here and I come seeking your guidance! Me and my buddy finally decided to take the plunge into growing and we're extremely excited about it. However I'm a bit unsure about a couple of things and was hoping I could get some clarity on them before we started growing. I've read the FAQ's but a few questions remain.

We're going with a 5'5'5' room and probably a 400w light. As of right now we can only afford one kind of HID light. What would you suggest we go with for our first harvest? Roughly how many plants could we fit there? Also is that light big enough for that room?

Second, this may seem like a stupid question but the only stupid questions are the ones that go unasked right? Anyway, we're planning on growing mids because if we screw up, at least we're not wasting White Widow or Kush seeds or somethin . My question is, will female plants from these seeds be seedless? Are there seedless mids? Everytime we get mids they always have seeds so I just assumed that.

you may want to get a 600w light, good ventilation and if only 1 go with hps separate your males ang you wil have no seeds

A four foot 8 tube t-5 light will do a better job and you won't have anywhere near the heat issues. In addition you will save a foot of height. The fixture is only 3" tall and you can get it closer to the plants. Uses less power to boot. VV
