So i thought i'd share my veg rooms with you. Most of these girls will be planted and put to the flower room. These have been vegging under a 400watt hps for one cupboard and a mh 400watt for another small cupboard. once i have more money ill buy a grow tent or similar so i can have all the veg plants in the one area. Ideally i will buy some t5 the 6 or 8 bulb ones for the veg tent (to save power). i Will need a few of those.

here is my 2 male bubblelicious in case i need fresh pollen, i also have a mazar i'm re vegging, and a mazar seedling i got from the plant thats being re vegged. lighting is 2ft 2 x 18w flourcesent t8 (std type) i also put in a pic ofone of the veg plants just before i'm about to plant into slab. still in the small dixie cup.

i have also included a pic of the slabs, about to get ready for planting and the veg hps cupboard, stem view.

wow, those pots are WAY too small. Use bigger pots. Bigger root system=bigger healthier plant. Also don't use clear cups because roots are not supposed to recieve any light

yeah thanks mate think i know whats going on, obviously they are small cups but makes no difference as its hydro and pot size is not a major factor besides these are planted into slabs. clear cups are fine if u have bigish plants the light wont reach that far let alone through the canopy. i wouldn't do normally but not enough small pots. anyway results speak for themselves. 1.5 - 2 pound evey month.

How much are ya slabs setting you back? couldn't you just get coco in bag form the ready to go and just fill the trays with it and cover, if ya can does it work out cheaper? cant wait to move into my house and loose the pissy tent ( no room for bigbuds ) i have after seeing your mad as setup haha BTW got my self a digi microscope from jaycar man there on spec for $49.95 from $100 http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=QC3244&keywords=microscope&form=KEYWORD works tops and does 130X, dam great buy and they work tops man i think 200x would be sweeter though but i can make out the tri's pretty nicely.

lol on giving you advice on cup size. I'm shocked you get them so big in those cups though. You certainly have the touch. Do you think the T5's will provide the light you are vegging with now?

Thanks 2stroke, i can get the slabs for $22 each i think, i actually brought the canna bag stuff last time as the slabs dont have much room and its to hard to plant the cups/pots size i'm using in to them, i use the loose stuff and pack around the plant, works well. my veg room cant fit 5 -6 slabs thats the reason i use small cups/pots for veg. if it did fit, i would plant the rooted clones (1in rockwool cube) straight to the propper slabs hopefully once i setup my new ve room i'll be able to do away with the small pots. the bag stuff filled 4 trays and cost $50, so its actually cheaper to pack my own trays. Its just a fuckin pain in da ass and i'd prefer to plant them straight to COGr slab. hope this makes sense.
dude sick link for the scope i'm getting one! i seen these pwen ones similar to jaycars for 100. i'm getting the jaycar 1 i just brought a pocket scope from ebay its ok but the one u got kicks ass! REP+ mate.

I hope so, alot of people seem to use them, they seem like they are pretty good, ill research more into them now u got me worried that they wont be any good. if i put both the MH and the HPS in one room 1.2m x 1.5m x 1.6m high (approx) that would be about 40watts per sq foot, so i'd need the same kinda light for the same results. thanks for stopping by.

lol how do you do that madazz, are you taking big cuttings and using an areo cloner to get the roots cranking full chase? do you just have a big arse root ball and add water/nutes into the cups, if so do you have drainage in the arses? just picked up on it myself and would be killer if ya could share how ya doing it as it would be kickarse when i finnaly get 2 tents on the go space wise and costs

Hey mate hows things. na i'm just taking standard size cuttings its just i have 2 flower beds 4 weeks apart. so i roughly harvest every 4 weeks . i take my clones and veg them for 3-4 weeks then they are planted to the slabs and put to flower.approx 10 weeks ater there fininshed. (2 weeks for strech before pistil growth starts i dont count) i actually thought that for 4 weeks they were not real good but i cant expect great results as the pot size is really small but needs to be so i can trans plant to the slabs . i put the 1 inch rockwool cube in the cup with a bit of coco under it. the roots fill the cup real quick. so the 2 weeks of stretch gives me 2 weeks to root my clones then 8wks go by they are done meanwhile i started another batch and timmed it so they were 4 weeks into flower when i harvested the 1st lot. thats my perpetual garden. oh yeah the cups gotta have 3 or 4 holes for drainage. its sick having 2 tents i should have done this 6 or 7 years ago!

Excellent job! I'm still trying to understand how that cola covering her (?) head got so massive. I'm doing something very similar to your grow, and have been doing it this way for many years. The only difference being that I use rockwool cubes and slabs, and don't water nearly as often. I water once a day, and probably every two weeks, plug the drain holes long enough to flood the trays and do sort of an ebb/flow soaking/flush. Once I get the optimum genetics dialed in (I took several years off from growing, and lost the P-91 strain I'd been blessed with ) I hope to get results like yours. For now, I'm still drooling. Best of luck!

Hey thanks, i to had some time off from growing as it became a chore rather than a hobbie that i enjoyed, i knew it was time to stop i was neglecting everything yeilding bugger all compaired to what i should have been getting. 2 years off and i couldn't wait to get started again. i to had no starins and had to start from scratch i tried chasing seeds/clones for near 2 months with no luck i decieded to try my chances at ordering over the net and i got them. so now i got some better than good genetics just need to dial setup in now so i get 2 pound every 4 weeks. Thats 900 grams of 2 600 watters, i used to get 30 -35 bags before with my old strain so once i'm dialed i should be there. thanks for stoppong by

Aardvark,

The Aardvark needs to be connected to a vacuum cleaner. This provides the suction needed to draw the leaf material into the cutting mechanism and then into the vacuum cleaner bag for easy and convenient disposal. The best type of vacuum cleaner is one with a variable speed control and a large bag volume. We recommend a ‘Miele’ as they are good quality, have a low noise and variable speed control. The Aardvark doesn’t need the vacuum to be really powerful; in fact it works best at a low speed.
The hardened steel cutting mechanism in the Aardvark will sheer 5400 times a minute. This speed will allow you to cut your plants in almost half the time that it would take you manually using scissors. The trimming edges are coated with Teflon to make sure that very little material sticks to them during operation and makes the cleaning of the machine very easy.​

that's nice man. here lately i have been thinking about this screen deal. if i'm harvesting every 20-21 days, that means i'm vegging for 20-21 days right? ok, when do i top them? at how many nodes? or should i not top them and just lollipop them? i don't know but i guess i'll get it right. i have had the privilege of seeing such awesome shots by you and Butters, i think i can connect the dots.
