QUICK! Question about drug screening?

Ahh I'm afraid I need a little help, I went for a job interview today and got hired on the spot... The manager right then and there took out his sciccors and clipped a peice of my hair, but didn't pull it from the root for a drug screening test...

I was curious as to how far back he'll be able to trace with just a cut, or does he need the root itself to get an accurate reading?.. Thanks guys!

yea but surely its illegal to just cut someones hair off without their consent.

I think your reading too far into what he's talking about. I'm under the assumption that this manager cut his hair under his consent (this was an interview/hiring appointment). If not then that would be an assault and batter case for sure.

Hair drug testing

Well I'm pretty sure they don't back years bro sorry to say... Not tryin to be an ass but speaking from experience, I had another incident when I had smoked a SHITLOAD of resin like 2 week prior to a drug screen a while back, and is was from a small hair sample and it came back negative?

I was really baffled too trust me, but true as toasted toads, that's how it went down ... Been about the same now in this instance.. sooo.. Imma cross my fingers but some good info would be awesome

Smoking 2 weeks prior to a drug test might not show up for a current drug test. Hair drug tests check for long time chronic use. One hit two weeks before a drug test might not show up for a few months. For instance if you smoke weed right before a urine test (literally right before the test), that positive result won't show up for a couple of days.

In any case you were right I spoke a bit too quickly. Hair drug tests can check anywhere from a few months to a year or more, depending on the type of hair, color, and chemical make up of your specific hair. That's at least what both norml's website and wikipedia says. Basically, if you've been smoking the past 2 months to a year you may or may not check positive.

I had a hairtest once and I had been smokin for 3 weeks previous to it. They took the samples from my lower shin. I passes haha it was a miracle
