Thought I had things together to grow out some new seeds but I guess not. These seedlings were doing pretty good in rockwool in a humidome with the vents almost closed to give high humidity. Once the taproot was coming out the bottom of the rockwool I put them in cups of soil with holes in bottom for drainage and back into humidome with vents more open. The first true leaves started to form and were coming out. Next day the true leaves looked a little mushy. Next day I look and a couple are turning black and look to be dying, stems are still up, and the round leaves are still there. Checked the thermometer and it was high reading 90 degF and very humid with drops forming and staying on inside of dome even with vents half open, but lots of humidity coming from seven cups of soil I guess. What happened to these leaves?
Will the plant survive and grow new true leaves??
I have the dome dried off and the lid vents fully open , with the lid sitting so the corners let air in too giving lower humidity now. Anything else I can do???
Thanks in advance for any help.
