Hi guys, ok so its not really a contest, i just wanted u to look.
I'm trying to step away from dwc tubs and move towards multiple buckets with a separate, single res. Help me choose which design will work the best.
On Both sides we have a single res with a water pump, and return lines from the bottom of the buckets.
On the left the entire bucket is filled with hydroton and a big rockwool cube. The top will be covered with somthing lightproof.
On the right their is a hole in the lid with a netpot droped in, filled with hydroton and a rockwool cube. The roots will drow down in the air.
The water will feed right into the rockwool cube soaking the roots and then draining down into the res.
some questions:
1) Which side is better?
2) What size buckets should i use for small plants? (1- 2 ft)
3) whats the best way to split the water from the pump into 6 tubes to feed the buckets?
4) What do you guys think? comments and suggestions welcome!
