theres no way a thread like this cant turn ugly, lol. i think glenn is great at what he does, entertain. people dont get he was a comedian first, that why he acts so crazy sometimes. i think i just cause he is acting like comedians do to get the point across. i love when he does that and people think thats how he really acts all the time.

Cracker, laughing at Beck's attempt at facts and getting actual news across is funny, there's nothing wrong with laughing at the guy and how many times he contradicts himself.

c5rftw, you're right, he's probably exaggerating some of his personality traits a bit, but just like anyone else, Jon Stewart, Colbert, Olbermann, OReilly, etc. They all actually do act like their ''character'' their representing on tv at least a little. I think Beck actually believes the shit he says on tv. It's not funny because he's funny or the way he's doing it is funny, it's funny because he attempts to explain complicated issues for his audience who is clearly not the ''complicated'' type... He tries to be smart, and to all those idiots watching they think he's brilliant! But in reality, 80% of the shit that comes out the front of his face is either a lie, logical fallacy, or inaccurate lazy journalism, if you could even call it that.

Basically, he's the William Hung of News commentators.... I love laughing at him, but I feel bad because he actually thinks he's doing a good job...

Paddy, if you read London's post, he was laughing at Becks true confession of being an alcoholic. It makes him laugh now..... wow. That's true compassion.

I really don't know how accurate all of the TV news is. I don't watch any of it. I do know that these guys try to not look foolish if possible. I think the facts are correct, it's the way it is presented which gets ppl's dander up.

But I'm sure FOX is KOH for a reason.
