Police at my door just a few hours ago .. OMG

Alright so The police was at my door asking if they could search my place for Drugs / Marijuana .. as they thought they smelled weed .

But U cant smell my white widow unless you in the same room .. The smell does not leave the room at all .. and trust me i got a good nose .

I also noticed a helicopter over my building yesterday ...


Anyways I told the officer I cant allow you in without a search warrant .. They were surprised that i actually seemed to know about the law and just left .

No doubt, me too. I'd be getting rid of everything ASAP - if they have any eveidence at all (maybe via the helicopter?) they could well be back with a warrant. I'd be sure to get evrything out under cover though, in case they are watching you.

listen man,dont let them in without a warrant,if youre nervous just move them somehwere with alot of light,like a trust worthy neighbors house,but keep your lights on in the house so if they decide to come back you could laugh and tell them that you just lost your pet reptiles to desease,they will look at you funny and leave,this JUST happened to my boy like 4 days ago,they questioned everybody in his building asking if they know of folks doing illegal activities such as smelling marijuana and asking everyone to let them in and search,when they got his crib he said nope,went out into the hallway to talk to them and closed the door behind him...he said he dont know shit about nuthin because he minds his own business,they left,he then moved his shit to a neighbors crib and they came back 2 days later with a warrant,he let them in and when they went into the room where the lights were they seen empty rubbermaid tubs,he told them that he lost 2 snakes and a tortoise to desease and the cops looked at each other and bounced

Think about when you run your lights. Were they on when the bird was above your place? If you claim that you can't smell it, and they say they can, then they probably found out by other means, and are trying to fool you in to thinking that you're fucked. If they really knew, they would have a warrant and busted you already. If they used FLIR without a reason then they can't use that to get a warrant. Somebody has tipped them off, and they're using scare tactics. Either way, dude, they know somehow or have a strong idea. It may be in your best interest to break it down, ASAP. If they're already asking questions than it WILL happen. It's just a matter of time.

Do they run the helicopter at night or the day? Cause if the lights are on in the day time it will mask alot of the heat and help hide the heat signature unless your running alot of lights.
Any way if their at your door it wont be the last time so get it out of there!

Cosign on that - no amount of weed is worth my freedom.

Odds are that you were running your mouth or doing something else to get you noticed and someone ratted on you.

Close up shop immediately and be thankful that you still have your freedom.

Or you can take a chance on going to prison (not jail, prison) for whatever nominal amount of weed that you have.

Running a cost/benefit analysis, it makes zero sense to do anything but close down shop immediately and put your lights, etc. into storage.

Don't forget to get rid of pipes, etc., because if they do come back with a warrant and find no plants, they'll bust you for the pipes and small amounts of weed just to save face.

What I know for a fact is one thing that cops will do is: If they have reason to suspect your growing or selling or really just breking the law, what they will do to promote activity is go to your door and say they know what you r doing,,, this will get you to start making phone calls,,, getting on the computer,, have friends over to tell them what happened,,, now depending on the cop or cops,,, they will b sitting close by in unmarked cars or like in my case a truck with a campershell on it with blackout windows so u cant see in,,, they will wait till noone is home and put mics,,, tap phones,, and basically keep track of you everyminute,,,,, when all this happened to me, it wasnt for drugs but for something else but,,, they never had permits when they started all the trap and trace devices so with drugs as I said before it is all up to the cops in your area,, this is very extreme for drugs but Im just saying that they will break the laws to get people that they beleive that r breaking the laws,,, and the cops were laughing about how easy it was to promote activity,,,, just a knock on the door and people will incriminate themselves... Its all different state to state,,, drastically........

they're was a break-in at my apts a week ago and there were cops everywhere. they asked me if i'd seen anything when I was walking the dog and i was like nope. byee...

I only have 1 little plant and i was shittin my pants. my roomie/girlfriend was like YOU ARE GETTING RID OF THAT TOMORROW~~!!

naturally i didn't... and i see cops every once in a while, but it's doing preventive rounds... if they would've knocked at my door i would've def gotten rid of it... just not worth it in my eyes....

got about 2 more weeks til harvest

If you decide to chop your plants, don't throw them in your trash can as the police will be more than likely sifting through your rubbish for any evidence. Either burn them or if you dont wanna waste the plant, make some edible goodies.

If you also decide to take apart grow room, If it where me I would also ask a non smoker friend to look after your lights etc. If the police do raid you and they find equipment, you can say you grow toms or something but I highly doubt they are going to believe that if they already suspect you of growing weed.

how bad would it get if you were busted with just one plant?
over hear you'd more than likely just get a fine or community service.
more than 1 and they probably try do ya for dealing.
