Wow, I can't believe the two of these guys had a debate and the universe didn't collapse in to the whole of suck that is created. A beady-eyed chicken hawk, and hairy slob of a fatass, both of which have annoying, whiny voices and a real hard time with the facts. Fucking awful.

I have to agree with Mr Moore. The top 5% of the people in this world own 95% of all the wealth in the world. Leaving the rest of us schmucks to fight over the 5% scraps left over. You cannot cause world wide economic damage with 5%. I would hope that by now everyone realizes the problem is caused by the big financial conglomerates, the "Money Trust" if you will. Government is in cahoots with the "money Trust" as evidenced by the numbers of former wall street and Fed Reserve Bank employees that are now in the administration. They don't give a damn about you, they just want the last 5%.

I didn't really see the despicable part. I thought they both made some decent points.
IMO the world is not so black/white, left/right as you ultra partisan folks imagine it to be.

You're assuming that there is a static wealth pie when there isn't. Wealth expands and it contracts. For example, a friend of mine bought $70,000 worth of gold when it wa $250 an ounce. Gold closed yesterday at $1035. My friend still has his gold and its now worth $288,400. That's a profit so far of $218,400. Whom did he cheat? Whom did he take advantage of?

I'm not sure what to make out of all this. Typically I'm very libertarian and hate big gov. but I watched my father come down with graves disease and as a result he couldn't work and the medical bills cause him to go bankrupt so we lost our house. During this my father NEVER considered gov assistance (welfare, housing) and not once did he blame anyone for our misfortune. We rented houses for 7 years and kept the expenses down, now my parents live in a great house in a nice community.

On a side note: I noticed that the price of gold has reached an all time high when priced at USD but how is it fairing compared to the euro or british pound? I wonder how much of this has to do with the loss in purchasing power with the dollar.

My God No Drama, We agree on something. Hallelujah! Yes it is the truth. 95% of the money is controlled by the top 5%. The rest of us have no chance of ever getting above a few hundred K a year unless we are related or invent something spectacular, like software at the beginning of the computer age, are a talented musician, actor, or gifted athelete, or pull off the biggest heist in history and get away with it.

Moore should go get liposuction in Cuba... since he wants the same communist health plan forced on us, here in the US.
