so this is my second grow.

using soil.
1/3 strg nute solution,
temp between 75-78 night, 78-84 day
good ph,
good humid

i don't have any growing issues, everything seems to be good, good healthy pretty plants

so i started these from bag seed i had, it was the same batch, so i'm realitivly sure it is the same strain

but, as you can see from the pictures, one of my ladies has big pretty buds forming,

the other one, (they were started at the same time) only still has presex flowers and no buds or hairs growing...

what could be the difference? i do evertyhing to both plants at the exact same time,

only difference is the one not showing sex organs, only pre sex, was started in a smaller pot...

only thing i can think of is maybe a different strain? i took pics of the two diff plants fan leaves also just for a comparison...

what do you think? any more info needed?

the first three are of the first plant buds, next 5 are of the second plant nodes, the last two are plant 1 then plant 2 of fan leaves

I think you probably got it right, sounds like two different strains, or even two different phenotypes of the same strain. As long as she is otherwise healthy I wouldn't worry.:peace:

yeah i just keep going over the different things in my head, and no, absolutley everything has been the same. i thought these were all from the same bag, but now i'm unsure if i mixed two bags together like 3 years ago...

can i ask what a phenotype is? haven't run into that word yet

thanks for the help!

Sure! Without looking it up, it's like the diff. dominant traits that the plant exhibits. Kinda like - say if you had a brown dog and a black dog mate, you would get some brown puppies, and some black puppies. Same with the mixed plants - you could get some more indica dominant, some more sativa dominant. Different kinds within the same strain.:peace:

ah awesome that makes a bunch of sense, seeing as these were taken from a bag of shit mids i got a few years ago....

the outter fan leaves of the one who hasn't flowered yet are actually starting to turn a dark greenish/purplish which is pretty neat, the other one is just bright bright green.

Awesome! Don't be afraid to start a grow journal - it can be very helpful. A lot of times members will chime in and let you know when something is wrong, even before you know there is a problem - and sometimes even if you don't want them to. lol:mrgreen::peace:

It could be a little crack of light coming in during your "night time cycle". Make sure this is taken care of during the 12/12 because it is the most important time for this. Keep an eye open for this or you could have hermied plants.

i would have to say my box is like 99.9% light proof, and the box is in my kitchen with a half working 60 watt bulb in the light socket, so not much light at all there....

but this box is made from a cardboard airconditioner box, after this grow, i'm going to build a propper woden box
