A few layers of cheesecloth will work. For my last batch of tincture, I used 1 pack of gum ball knee highs that i got for 25 cents at walmart. 2 come in a pack but you might want to use 2 packs or even 3 because I ended up with some chunks.

ok i dont have cheese cloth or pantyhose. i was thinking an old shirt. what about a disposable coffee filter? ive used disposable coffee filters b4 and i think it doesnt let it all through

i always used a disposable coffee filter and worked fine but your right i think all of it doesnt go through.....

yeah cuz last grow i made hash and i got back just enough to put some on a bowl. this time im using straight bud and i want to use something that will let the good stuff pass through

i' made iso last week out of stems and i sprinkled it in a blunt and i was blasted.......how long you shake it for heathaa...

i read up to 5 mins but i usually shake it no less than 5 mins

well the way i always make it i use 2 coffee filters and worked fine....towards the end i strain whatever is left(dont know if is a good thing but i like to get all the trichs left back)out of 6g you should get a nice chunk...i also learned that its better to freeze for a few hours before you make ur hash....also try grinding before....to be honest with you i've never made iso with real bud only stems and a couple trimmings...i wish i had 6 g of bud to make iso...

what method did you use for drying your iso...my opinion is letting it sit for like 2 days until everything is evaporated and it all dry...then scrape..i've made iso about 5 times and i think thts the best way...

The longer you mix the ISO with the buds, the amount of impurities stripped off increases.
